Known for its resemblance to the eyeball, this bar shelled fruit tastes similar to lychee. The fruit is easily shelled and has a very enigmatic aroma. It traces its lineage to Myanmar and China and has since been cultivated in countries like Australia and Thailand. It can be used in many South Asian Cuisines as a part of Curries, Soups and desserts or can be consumed raw.
